  Last Will and Testament of Hannah Phelan:
  Nov. 10th, A.D. 1874
  The last Will and Testament of Hannah Phelan.
  I will to Jonath, Ivans, Thomas, Peremiah's Heirs and Young Phelan, One Dollar each. All the household property I will to Abijah T. Phelan and Hannah, his wife. A muslin dolano (?) dress, I give to Carine Matter; a stripped calico dress, I give to Elizabeth Newman; to Hannah Phelan, I give a red under skirt and a light calico dress. One dress bonnet, I give to Sarah Matter. I want Jonathan and Abijah to have my land and to divide it without any hardness. Margaret Mhoon, I give one mingled calico dress. To Anna Phelan, I give one pair of gloves and one breast pin. One check sack and apron, I give to Susan Phelan. I want my (looks like) shall (?) divided between Margaret Mhoon and Hannah Phelan. My side saddle, I want sold to defray my burying expenses. The Doctor books, I give to Abijah Phelan. My three year old filly, I give to Stephen Garrison. One silk mantle, I give to Margaret Jones.

  Do it remembered that on the 23rd day of February 1875, personally appeared before me, P. R. Smith, as Clerk of the Probate Court in and for said County and State, Thomas Cline and A.R. Edminton, two of the subscribing witnesses to the annexed and foregoing instrument and after being duly sworn as the law directs deposeth and sayeth each for himself, that they signed their names at the end of the foregoing instrument of writing, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Hannah Phelan, deceased, as witnesses at the request of the said Hannah Phelan and at the same time the said Hannah Phelan signed the same by making her mark in our presents and in the presence of Nancy Edminton and Margaret Jones, the other subscribing witnesses and that we all signed said Will in the presence of each other and in the presence of said Hannah Phelan and that she signed the same by marking her mark in our presence and at the time the said decreased signed the same she declared---------- can not read rest of document--------------------
