Elvae later lived with one of Mr. Leonard's sons by a previous marriage where she remained until after graduating from Capitol High School in Oklahoma City...She later married Carl Henry Harp who was working for Mr. Leonard. Carl had just lost his first wife, Edith Dodson at child birth. Carl and Elvae were married December 25, 1935 in Guthrie, Logan county, Oklahoma..... Elvae Mae Gray Harp Rodgers was killed in an attempted robbery May 11, 1985 at the "Ole Townhouse Liquor Store", 6900 Asher Avenue, Little Rock, Ark. 72204 where she and her husband, Orbra Shydell "Dick" Rodgers had been working for 13 years..... Elvae got her soc sec card Dec. 27, 1945 in Crescent, Okla. shows to be working at Larry's Food Mart, shows her father as Lee Gray and mother as UNKNOWN.
