a. Note:   HARRIET (MENSCH) PITTMAN , 90, a resident of Sterling until six months ago, died at 7:55 p.m. Sunday at Morrison Community Hospital. The body was brought to the Woods Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. F. Leon Furrh, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Morrison, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Pittman lived at 1111 2nd Ave. in Sterling until six months ago when she moved to Morrison to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mann. She was born Sep. 3, 1863 at Catawissa, Pa., daughter of William and Anna Lieby Mensch. Survivors included two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Nellie) Mann, Morrison, and Mrs. Charles (Florence) Manon, Rt. 1, Dixon; one son, Russell L., Washington, D.C.; and five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband, Royal, who died in 1930. She was the last member of a family of ten.

  Service was conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Woods Funeral home by Rev. F. Leon Furrh, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Morrison. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery. Casket bearers were Kenneth Manon of Dixon, Harold Manon and Glenn Stern of Sterling, Kenneth Aiken of Morrison and William Maxey of Polo, grandsons of the departed and Raymond Ebersole. Flowers attended by Dr. and Mrs. A. E. Harding, Miss Harriet Blodgett and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Aiken of Morrison and Miss Bess Seavey of Prairieville. The out of town relatives attending were Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Mensch of Mason City IA, Lee Mensch of Manley IA, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dietz of Lanark, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Williams of Dixon and Mrs. Nora Young, Mrs. Ollie VanOoston and Mrs. Maude McKee of Morrison.
