a. Note:   15, 1954 and completely wiped out McDonald's Chapel where the family lived for many years.
  Joe was rumored to be having an affair while his wife was being treated for Tuberculosis in the 1950's-60's. He was a hard worker and drinker, and very crafty. He could build anything he could draw.
  Joe was attacked in Ensley, AL in April of 1968, clubbed with a hammer, robbed and left for dead. He only lived a few hours and later died at Lloyd Noland Hospital.

Note:   Joe worked for TCI (Tenessee Coal and Iron) Steel Plant on locomotives. He was an electrician. The family was in one of the worst F4 tornadoes to hit Alabama. It happened on Sunday at 3 p.m. April
