Note: Ron (13) worked at the 5 and 10 cent store and bought "boots" (Carol thought for daddy) which turned out to be a doll baby for Carol. She was called bootsie. These were hard times. Ron was in the Airforce for about 4 years San Antonio, Texas and Lackland Airforce base in Washington State.7/58 -7/62. Ron had his last drink in December 81. He had his last smoke in June 2000. Article published Aug 18, 2006 Ronald D. Cain June 11, 1939-Aug.13, 2006 Private graveside services for Ronald D. Cain, 67, of Newark, were conducted at St. Joseph Cemetery, Newark, with the Rev. Timothy Hayes officiating. Military honors were provided by the Licking County Veterans Allianc Mr. Cain died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006, at his home in Newark. He was born June 11, 1939, to the late Jesse and Clara (Milhoan) Cain. Mr. Cain, a U.S. Air Force veteran, was retired from The Advocate, where he worked in maintenance. In addition, he was an avid woodworker, and he also enjoyed working on cars. He is survived by his loving wife, Loretta (Gualtieri) Cain, of the home; his sons and daughter-in-law, William Riffle, of Gahanna, and Timothy and Lin Riffle, of Granville; his daughters, Christine Reichart, of Newark, and Patricia Miller, of Hopewell; and five grandchildren.
