a. Note:   Pauline was really sick in 1963 Had pnemonia (myocarditis-infected muscles swelling around the heart), (had nytrogylicerine ) - acted like a heart attack. Had to learn to walk again.
  Clarence introduced Pauline to Herman at Herman's birthday party.

  PAULINE E. JONES 1918 - 2004 BYESVILLE - Pauline E. Jones, 86, of Jamestown, N.Y., formerly of Byesville, died Tuesday (Nov. 16, 2004) at WCA Hospital, Jamestown. She was born March 2, 1918, in Belle Valley, daughter of the late Delmar R. Cain and Emma (Sealock) Cain. Mrs. Jones was a lifelong homemaker and pastor's wife. She was a member of Cambridge Free Methodist Church, and a graduate of Byesville High School. She was a marvelous cook, she enjoyed crafts and gardening, and was a great seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Herman L. Jones, on Nov. 22, 1998. They were married Jan. 1, 1941. Also deceased are three sisters, Hazel, Eleanor and Bernice; and five brothers, Jessie, Cliff, Gene, Sam, and Ralph. She leaves two sons, Stanley L. (Barbara) Jones of St. Louis, MO., and Burton R. (Ruth) Jones of Rochester, N.Y.; a daughter, Sharon E. (Douglas) Hamilton of Genesee, PA.; a sister-in-law, Doris Cain of Alabama; a sister, Esther Selders of Byesville; six grandchildren, Amy (Kipp) Gray, Matthew (Helen) Jones, Yvonne (Robert) Briggs, Eric (Shambra) Hamilton, Celeste Jones and Allyson Jones; and four great-grandchildren, Faith, Devon, Tara and Aislinn. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today (Friday) at Black Family Funeral Service, Byesville. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Cambridge Free Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles McRobie officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
