a. Note:   Information about her birth from back of marriage certificate.
  In 1871 census she was living at 45 Glover St in Perth (enumeration
 district 8), aged 39, with David, apprentice druggist 17; Elizabeth 15;
 Robert 13; Georgina 10; William 8; and Christina 6; along with a servant
 (as I recall).
  Where were they all in 1881?
  In 1891 she was living "on private means" at 1 Argyll St in Campbeltown
 with Robert (chemist and druggist), Georgina, and Christina. Ages don't
 all fit exactly.
 29/02/00 I now have her death certificate. She died at Woodbank,
 Crossgates, Dunfermline on 31/08/09. I have a note that she died at 5
 Hope St Lane, which may have come from Gilbert. That might have been
 her home latterly.
 21/03/01 Letter from Fife Council giving her burial place as Dunfermline
 Cemetery Lair ED 49.
 6/10/01 Saw the stone at Dunfermline. Age given as 82 on stone, agrees
 with christening date.
 02/01/02 1909 - CAIRNIE, Elizabeth Heggie Dandie or, widow of Robert
 Cairnie, Woodbank, Crossgates, Fife, died 31st October 1909 at
 Crossgates, Testate. Confirmation granted at Cupar 31st December, to
 Robert Cairnie, Chemist and Druggist, Crossgates aforesaid, and David
 Dandie Cairnie, Chemist and Druggist, Thurso her sons, Executors
 nominated in Will or Deed, dated 6 October 1906 and recorded in Court
 Books of Commissariot of Fife 27 December 1909.
