  around 1885 they were in Greene County, Missouri if Lydia was born there. They are not found on the 1885 state census. 1887 they might have been in either Missouri or Arkansas. One of Minnie's censuses--but not others--say she was born there

  OBITUARY: ((Taken from a clipping, unknown newspaper and date.)) REDDICK DIES NEAR BAY MILL FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD FROM HOME TOMORROW AFTERNOON John Thad Reddick, 70 years old, passed away at his home in Miller township, near Bay mill , at 3:50 oclock this morning, after ten days illness. Mr. Reddick was a native of the State of Iowa. He had been a prominent Marion County farmer for several years. Four daughters, Mrs. George Lowe, Mrs. August Kaltenbach, Mrs. Albert Kuntz and Mrs. Bertie Darnell and a son, Francis Reddick, all of Marion county, survive. Funeral services will be held from the family home at 2 oclock tomorrow afternoon and the remains will be interred in Rush cemetery.
  NOTES; ((1)) John Thaddeus went by the name of Thaddeus (sometimes spelled Thadeus) or simply Thad. ((2)) Marion County, Missouri, census reports for 1900 and 1910 give his name as Thad. His father's Will lists his name as Thaddeus. In filing for his death certificate, his son Francis Edward Reddick gave his name as John Thad. Reddick (filed in Marion County on March 10, 19 20). A page from the Bible of his daughter, Lydia Otilda, shows his name as Thaddeus Reddick . And the family Bible of his granddaughter, Dora May (Lowe) Passmore, gives his name as John Thaddus Reddick. ((3)) In the last years of his life, according to the Marion County Census report of 1920, John Thaddeus lived with the family of his son, Francis Edward, in the old farmhouse built by his father, Philip Reddick.
