Also, Otilla is the spelling that appears in the 1880 U.S. Census and a similar spelling, Otillia, appears on her marriage certificate. HATTON'S FUNERAL HELD Funeral services for Mrs. Otilla Hatton, age 73 years, were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the home of her son, William Mills Hatton, on Orchard avenue, with Rev. George C. Jurrans, pastor of Prince Avenue Baptist church, conducting the obsequies. Interment was in Thrasher's Chapel cemetery. Mrs. Hatton died Friday night, following three weeks illness.
