CONNORS, 96, 71 Adams St., died Monday in a local nursing home after a lengthy illness. She was the widow of James A. CONNORS. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Joseph and Margaret (FINN) FARRELL. She was a graduate of St. Mary's schools. Mrs. CONNORS was a lifelong resident of the city. She was employed as an inspector at the former Gregory and Reed Shoe Co. for more than 20 years until her retirement in 1943. Mrs. CONNORS was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Auxiliary and Sodality. She leaves 2 sons, Joseph P. CONNORS of Lynn and Ernest D. CONNORS of St. Charles, Ill.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Mary M. HERSEY of Saugus and Mrs. Doris H. KANE of Lynn, wife of John KANE, a retired fire department district chief; 21 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late James E. CONNORS. The funeral will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., followed by a Mass in St. Pius V Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
