a. Note:   morial Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Uriah J. Short, Owego. She was predeceased by a son, Raymond. She is also survived by five sons, Melvin, Norristown, Pa., Duane, Barton, Oliver, Chemung, Phillip, Owego, and Dale, Alameda, Calif.; two daughters, Mavis McDuffee, Owego, Yvonne Pollard, Owego; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Winona Titus, Johnson City; and also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Eastey & Munroe Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. The Rev. Ralph Johnson, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in the Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin.
