Note: Joseph died on 27 Sep 1730, "in the 55th year of his age," at Bridgewater, and is buried not far from his father and mother in the Old South Street Cemetery, West Bridgewater, MA. Transcription of his tombstone: "Here the memory of Mr. Joseph Keith, who was born Februy (sic) ye 14th day, 1675, and died Sept. ye 27th day, 1730, in ye 55 year of his age. memento mori" And Elizabeth died on 12 Feb 1758, at Bridgewater, MA. She is buried next to Joseph: "Here lies buried Mrs. Elizabeth Keith, Relict [arch. "Widow".] to Lt. Joseph Keith, who departed this life Feb. 12, 1758, in the 81st year of her age."
