b. Continued:   Waco Tribune Herald, Thursday July 6, 2006 page 1C Car struck by truck, slides onto I-35; 1 dead An 87 year old woman was killed in a traffic accident Wednesday morning in Lorena. Lynett Baker Richards was driving a 2004 Honda Civic west on old Temple Road bridge over interstate 35 about 10 am when she stopped at the access road stop sign, Lorena police chief Keith Reed said. Richards apparently did not see a meat truck coming south on the I-35 access road and drove into the intersection, Reed said. The truck hit the Civic's right passenger door, knocking the car sideways and then down the embankment onto I-35, Reed said. The car crossed both south bound I-35 lanes and hit the concrete median, Reed said. Richards, a Lorena resident, was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. No other cars were involved, he said. The truck driver, who worked for ConAgra Foods, was shaken up but uninjured, Reed said.
