a. Continued:   He moved to McLennan County Texas with his parents sometime before 1930. They moved to Lorena and lived on Moody Road. He married Lynett in 1938 and they were living just outside the McGregor city limits in 1940. He started working for Jones Fine Bread and later Mrs. Beards Bakery where he worked until he retired in 1974. He attended Lake Shore United Methodist Church. He died at his home at 1516 Mitchell Avenue in Waco.

b. Continued:   Waco Tribune Herald June 15, 1988 Pat M. Richards, 79, of 1516 Mitchell died at 6:39 P.M. Tuesday at his residence. Grave side services 11:30 A.M. Thursday at Waco Memorial Park with Reverend Richard Reed and Reverend Robert Frueh officiating. Survivors: Wife, Lynett Richards, one daughter, Patricia Dorris of Fort Worth, three sons, Douglas Richards of Lewisville, Doyle Richards of Cedar Hill and Calvin Richards of Lorena, three sisters Ruby Reeves, Myrtle Buice and Kathryn Battle all of Waco, two brothers, Aubrey Richards of Waco and Robert Richards of Grand Prairie. 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Lake Shore United Methodist Church or Bethel Baptist Church.

Grave side services 11:30 A.M. today at Waco Memorial Park the Reverend Richard Reed and the Reverend Robert Frueh officiating. Mr. Richard was born June 10, 1909 in Belton. He worked at Blackland Air Force Base during World War II. He was married to Lynett Baker on June 25, 1938. He worked for Jones Fine Bread and Mrs. Bairds Bread for 30 years. He attended Lake Shore United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Patricia Dorris of Fort Worth, three sons, Douglas Richards of Lewisville, Doyle Richards of Cedar Hill and Calvin Richards of Lorena, three sisters Ruby Reeves, Myrtle Buice and Kathryn Battle all of Waco, two brothers, Aubrey Richards of Waco and Robert Richards of Grand Prairie. 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family has designated Lake Shore United Methodist Church or Bethel Baptist Church for memorials Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
