Notes
a. Note:   Wife of my 5th great-granduncle. - - - - - RLB - 9 September 2011 - She is supposed to be the wife of Edward Lucas and the mother of a John Lucas who was born 19 February 1765. Edward Lucas is reported to have been buried in the Family Farm Cemetery, Shepardstown, West Virginia. Elizabeth Corn is reported to have died in Cold Spring Plantation,Frederick,Virginia in March 1768. Why wasn't Edward buried on the Plantation also? But for the time being I will accept the idea of Edward having a 2nd wife and another child. He would have been 55 years old but his wife Elizabeth would have been only about 25.
