Notes
a. Note:   1. I have a copy of Eugenio's will, dated 19 FEB 1881. He left everything to "my blind son Irwin Frank Baker of the County of McLeod," and assigned his son Augustus C. Baker of the village of Brownton as the executor of his estate.
  2. I have a copy of Eugenio's death record. The entry above Eugenio's is his son Lewis H. Baker.
  3. I have a copy of a probate record for Eugenio that identifies all his heirs. His widow, Calista, received 37 of Eugenio's 77 acres of real estate.
  4. I was only able to find the following brief obituary:
Source: "The Glencoe Enterprise," Wednesday, April 18, 1883, Page 4, Column 3
  Brownton
Dr. Erastus [sic] Baker passed quietly away Friday morning [this would mean April 13th, which is wrong] after a long and useful life. Elder Pascoe conducted the funeral services, on Saturday. Quite a large number were present considering the condition of the road.
