Note: Jim was a Yoman 3rd Class in the Navy. Served for 2-3 years. Got out just before the Cuban Crisis in 1963. He died of cancer in 1992. The cancer was involved in both lungs (top lobes) so it couldn't be removed. He underwent radiation treatments in the summer of 1991 and looked like hell afterward. The cancer seemed to have disappeared and, that fall, he was able to go back to work and his little house in Weatherford, Tex. By March of 1992, he was having extreme pain in his arm (lymph node) so went back into the hospital. It was discovered that the cancer had come back and spread throughout his body.
