Notes
a. Note:   The spouse of her brother Santiago killed Lucia by accidentally running over her in the driveway.
According to her children Francisco and Maria, Lucia's house was haunted. There was a ghost that would walk through and around the house at night. They would see it enter one door, make a pass through the entire house and then leave out another door. Also, a cousin of theirs would go to the outhouse at night and would see what looked like fire under the house. According to them, "ghost- fire" showed the location of money. When the house was torn down many years later, there were bundles of money buried under the house. It had come from a neighbor next door.
