She was 77 years old, was born and had lived all her life in San Diego. Her mother was a daughter of the equally historic Machado family, and her father, Stewart, one of San Diego's early pioneers of other than Spanish blood. She was the wife of Louis Serrano, and mother of Lee, John, Tony, Nellie and L. A. Serrano, Mrs. Earl Ensign and Mrs. Rose Fournier, and sister of Miss Rose Stewart and Mrs. B. F. Parsons, all of San Diego. Friends are invited to attend the funeral at the church of the Immaculate Conception in North San Diego where requiem high mass will be celebrated at 8 o'clock a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday).
