She taught Nellie SeymourSoule who also came to work for the telephone company.Charlotte lived with Wm and Jane Black in a room in the back ofthe Phone Office in Tower CityShe lived for a time in Yakima, Washington and came back toTower City in the late 1920's to care for her sister Georgianawho was sick.Maxine Soule was 13 years old when her great aunt Auntie Mickcame back to Tower City to care for Grandma Soule who had brokenher hip and been diagnosed with cancer.She was a member of the Eastern Star and retired to an EasternStar Home in Fessenden ND until she died sometime after 1948. Have letter dated 26 May 1929 mailed from Zumbrota MN signedyour only aunt (Cornelia Pool Rogers), describing ancestors,Auntie Micks greatgrandmother Elizabeth McNaughten married toMatthew Scott. This aunt's mother (Sarah Scott Pool) is theirchild and Auntie Mick's grandmother born 21Feb 1812. MatthewScott enlisted in the War of 1812 and the daughter was bornbefore he returned. Matthew Scott was lowland Scot-Holland Dutchand Elizabeth was highland Scot. Per the letter the McNaughtens,highlanders, had no time for Matthew, the lowlander. But he wasa dear old grandpa.
