Canamore, a well known farmer residing four miles north of Brookland, was in the city today and, paid the Tribune office a pleasant call. Mr. Canamore tells of an auto striking his seven year old son on Thursday, but does not know who was the owner or driver of the car. The accident occurred Thursday and, the car was a large one, containing four passengers, three men and, one lady. He is of the impression that the car was enroute to Paragould to the races. He got the number of the car, 1836 and, is here today to ascertain the owner, if it is that of a Jonesboro person, and as the car was going north, he supposed it was from this city. He states that while the boy is not seriously injured he was bruised up considerably and, has suffered much pain. The father of the lad states that the driver said: "Get up kid, you are not hurt."
