  CENSUS INFORMATION: The 1900 Federal Census for Caldwell County shows the Candelaria family farming. Antonio is 53 years old [born Aug 1846); his wife, Teresa-is 31 year old [born Oct 1868); Their children: a son, Leonardo-15 years old [born Nov 1884); another son, Pedro-13 years old [born May 1887); a daughter, Virginia-11 years old (born Jan 1889); a son, Antonio-9 years old (born Jan 1891); a daughter, Teresa-7 years old (born Jan 1893); and the youngest daughter, Juana-5 years old (born Feb 1895).

In the home are Antonio's mother, Antonia GARCIA, as well as his sisters and nephew-Juan's son, Melquiades. 1900 CENSUS: Antonio CANDELARIA and his family are residing in Pct. 4 in Caldwell County. REAL ESTATE information: First purchase of property was Lots 31 and 32 in the Townshite of Reedville, Caldwell County, Texas, at age 44, seven years after his marriage to Teresita VeraCruz, and only one-and-a half-months before his third child, Antonio, was born. REAL ESTATE information: Having purchased Lots 31 and 32 in December 1890, Antonio Sr. purchased Lots 36, 37, 38, and 39 in the township of Reedville, Caldwell County, Texas on February 20, 1893. He now owned 6 lots in the Township at the age of 46. REAL ESTATE INFORMATION; Antonio sold his four lots: 36, 37, 38 and 39, in the Township of Reedville, Caldwell County, Texas, at age 54. He had originally purchased them in 1893. There is no record that he sold his other two town lots: #31 and #32.
