MRS. HELEN TUTTLE Mrs. Helen Tuttle, widow of the late Miletus Tuttle, passed away at her home on Meadville Street, Wednesday evening, December 24, 1919. She had been in poor health for some time and for the last few weeks confined to her bed. Mrs. Tuttle was tenderly cared for, but all the loving care and kindness was of no avail and she went to be with her dear ones who had gone on before. Mrs. Helen Tuttle was born and raised in Venango Township and lived there until the death of her husband a few years ago. She stayed with her granddaughter Helen* in Edinboro, where she has resided. During this time she made many friends. She was loved and esteemed by all who knew her. She was of a quiet and gentle disposition and always ready with a smile and a kind word for everybody. A loving mother, a good neighbor and a friend to everyone. She will be greatly missed by all, especially by the granddaughter, Helen, who had been her constant companion since the death of her mother a number of years ago. Of her family, she is survived by 2 sons, George & F.M. Tuttle, both of Venango Township, seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. Mary Skelton of California, Mrs. Powell and one half-brother, Mr. Clark Reynolds of California, who were unable to be present at the funeral which was held at her late home, Friday at 1 p.m. and services at Skeltontown at 2, Rev. Bonner officiating. She was laid to rest by the side of her husband in the Skeltontown Cemetery. Beautiful flowers covered the casket in which she was laid away. *The "Helen" that was mentioned - I think is Helen Burchfield
