a. Note:   SUDDENLY STRICKEN William L. Taylor Drops Dead in Yard of Farm Home From Heart Attack Yesterday Lived on Farm Near Deerwood for 30 Years; is Survived by Large Family and Many Friends William L. Taylor, 75, a retired farmer, living two miles east of Brainerd on Oak street, in the Russell Murray Log Cabin, dropped dead in his yard from heart failure yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mr. Taylor leaves to mourn him three sons, Karl M. Taylor of Milwaukee, Wis., George K. Taylor of Deerwood; and A. Bernard Taylor of Kelliher; two daughters, Mrs. Vera M. Marsh of Deerwood, and Mrs. Clara M. Laughlin; all by a former marriage; and his wife, one son, William L. Taylor, Jr. of Brainerd and one step-daughter, Irma L. Taylor, also of Brainerd. Also 13 grandchildren and great grandchild, two sisters, one in California and one in Peoria, Ill. At the time of his death Mr. Taylor was 75 years, two months and three days of age. He owned and lived on a farm in Deerwood for over 30 years and is very well known in Crow Wing county. He sold his farm a year ago and moved to Brainerd on April 1. He here (sic) for four months and then moved to his present home east of the city on August 1. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.
