Reporter of Fri., Dec. 22, 1911, p3 had: DROVE PARENTS OUT THEN KILLED HIMSELF Corning, Dec. 20---After driving his aged father and mother from their home in the bitter coldMonday night just before midnight, Nathaniel Eaton, the 31 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Eaton of Nelson, Pa., shot and killed himself with the shotgun with which he frightened them from the house, Mrs. Eaton was compelled to flee in her night clothes. Eaton was intoxicted when he came home, and quarrelsome. He drove his father from the house and then attacked his mother. He then closed the door, lay down on the floor, and placng the muzzle of his gun to his breast, pushed the trigger with the ramrod. He was instantly killed.
