At the age of n[i]nety years Mr. Isaac Losey, a respected citizen, died in the home of his son Myron at Elmira, N. Y., last Thursday evening. Six years ago Mr. Losey moved to Elmira to reside with his son from Lawrenceville, where he had spent most of his life. The decesed was a a prominent Odd Fellow and in that order was as much looked up to as he was in the community in which he resided. Wednesday afternoon Mr. Losey fell from the cellar-way and his advanced age and the physical shock he sustained resulted in a stroke of paralaysis a few hours later. Mr. Losey's demise is regretted by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. He was a man of fine character and a lovable disposition and the kind of man that help make the name of a community. In Lawrenceville and Elmira his death will be sincerely mourned. He was buried by the side of his wife in the village cemetery at Lawrenceville on Saturday. He is survived by two sons, Myron Losey, of Elmira, and the Hon. George T Losey, of Lawrenceville. * * * Brown's 1897 History of Tioga County Burgess of borough of Lawrenceville, 1892
