a. Note:   Wellsboro Gazette of Feb 11, 1932, p2 has: Mrs. Mabel A. Hallen Dies at Lawrenceville Lawresceville, Feb. 10—Mrs. Mabel (Aldrich) Hallen, aged 50, daughter of the late Simon and Mary Frances (Nichols) Aldrich, and wife of James D. Hallen, of Lawrencevllle, died at her home on Mechanic street on Sunday morning at 2.:30 o'clock, after a lingering illness. She was "a member of the Lawrencewile Woman's Club and was well known In thls community where she had a host of frlends. She is survived by her husband, and one son, Prof. Wendell Hallen, of Donora, and one daughter, Kathenne, wife of Robert R Eaton, of this place, and one brother, Arthur Aldnch, of Alfred Station, N. Y. The funeral services will be held at her home on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. O B. Blanchard, mortician, of Nelson, will have charge of the funeral. Interment will be in the Nichole cemetery in Tuscarora, Steuben Co, N. Y. The pall bearers will be Arthur T Swan, Daniel E. Growl and John Crowl, of this place and Eman Swan and Curtis Swan, of Nelson.
