Janet (Young) Richardson, 70, of Mallard Drive, Avon, wife of Earl E. Richardson, died Monday, (September 27, 1999) at home. She was born April 1, 1929 in Wellesley, MA, daughter of the late Roswell and Katharine (Pratt) Young and had lived in Avon for the past 20 years. She was a graduate of Wells College, Aurora, NY. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Phillip Bannatyne of Cambridge, MA; a daughter, Lesley Bannatyne Bay of Sommerville, MA; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Phillip and John Young, and a sister, Marian (Young) Borst. A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced. There are no calling hours. Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike, Canton, has charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Connecticut Hospice, Inc., 270
