IDA S. EATON Mrs. Ida S. Eaton, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Merritt, at Nelson, Sunday afternoon, aged 88 years. She was born in Nelson, May 30, 1850, daughter of Robert and Emily Campbell, and spent her entire life there. In September, 1871, she was married to the late James Eaton. In 1935 she suffered a fractured hip, and has been confined to her bed since that time. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clara Merritt, of Nelson, and Mrs. Lyman Pray, of Chicago; one son, Charles Eaton, of Johnson City; 11 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Clara Merritt; burial in Nelson cemetery. * * * Wellsboro Agitator of Oct 30, 1901, p5 has: "NELSON INCIDENTS ...
