Note: Obituary of David Arundale David Arundale passed away at his home west of here on March 31, at the age of seventy-seven years. He had been in ill health since Christmas, but was not considered to be in serious condition, until uremic poisoning set in and caused his death. He was married to Jennie Horsley, September 13, 1870. Besides his aged widow, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Grayce Hutsinpiller of Morris; and one son, Floyd, at home. One brother, Samuel, of Plattville and two half brothers, George of Yorkville and Wilbur of Lisbon Center; and two half sisters, Julia and Addie of Lisbon Center, survive him. The funeral was held at his home on Monday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. Harrisville officiating. Mmes William and Blanchard Morrison sang, "Jesus, Lover of My Soul" and "Nearer, My God to Thee" accompanied by Miss Maggie Moore. Rev. Harrisville sang "Rock of Ages: at the grave. The pallbearers were Messrs, Lars Ness, Edmund Osmon, Ole Ness, Albert Washburn, Nels Larson and J. W. Widney. Burial was in the Lisbon Cemetery. Kendall County Record (Wednesday) April 11, 1923
