a. Note:   Wellsboro Agitator of July 16, 1924, p1 has: Elkland News. Elkland, July 16. — Arthur E. Jones died very suddenly at Keuka, N. Y., Saturday p. m., July 5. Mr. and Mrs. Jones and family motored to Keuka Thursday to spend the Fourth. Mr. Jones, who has been in poor health for the past three years, was feeling as well as usual when stricken by a paralytic stroke, living only about one and one-half hours. The remains were brought to his home in Elkland Saturday night. Mr. Jones, who was 62 years of age, was born in Addison, N Y, Nov. 21, 1872. He had resided in Elkland for the past 40 years. He married Rose Campbell, Dec. 8, 1897. He is survived by his wife and one brother, W. W. Jones, of Elmira, N. Y. Mr. Jones had been in the employ of the Elkland Leather Co. for the past 26 years, holding a responsible position aa office manager. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Osceola, No. 421, and the Coudersport Consistory. The funeral was held from his late home Wednesday, July 9, Rev. H. I. Chattin, of Port Allegheny, officiating, assisted by Rev. C. C. Crippen. Burial at Nelson with Masonic service. The many beautiful floral offerings show the high esteem in which he was held. Ellison, of Clifton Springs, Mrs Harry Daniels and son, Edward, of Ulysses, E.. H. Knapp and William Knapp, of Farmington, J. C. Lawrence, of Hornell, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Johnson of Austinburg, Pa., Mrs. E. C. Blackwell, Mrs. C. H. Lugg and Mrs. Stella Wilbur, of Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Albee, Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Zwilhng and Mrs. Will Butler, of Elmira, Arthur Moore of Corning, Joseph Eberle, of Westfield, Oben Ollison, Jr., William Ellison, Mr. and Mrs. R. O.
