Note: Wellsboro Agitator of Apr 1, 1954 p7 has: MRS. WILLIAM D. MATHEWS Mrs. Lela M. Mathews of Morris RD 1, died Saturday night, March 27, 1934, at her home. She was born in Morris Township September 9, 1924, the daughter of Robert M. and Anna M. English Blackwell. She is survived by her husband, William D.; a daughter,, [sic] Sue Ann, her father, Robert M. Blackwell, of Morris RD 1, two sisters, Mrs. Walter Hunter of Wellsboro RD 1, and Mrs. Freda Warner, of Morris RD 1, and three brothers, Willis Blackwell, of Williamsport, John Blackwell, of Moms RD 1, and Robert, of Wellsboro RD 4. Services were held Tuesday at the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Morris RD 1, with the Rev. Paul Lawrence officiating, assisted by the Rev. Herbert Moore. Burial was in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
