a. Note:   Wellsboro Agitator of June 11, 1959 has: Mrs. William B. Mathers, 47, wife of William Mathers, of 93 West Avenue died Thursday evening June 4, 1959 in Wellsboro Hospital. She was born July 14, 1911 in Wellsboro, the daughter of William B. and Helen Steele Eberenz and was a member of First Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Sandra Brown of Montgomery, Ala.; a son Thomas, at home, her mother, now of Corning, N. Y.; four sisters, Mrs. Hoyt Shipe of Hawaii, Mrs. Mildred Jones of Corning, Mrs. Ione Copestick of Montoursville and Mrs. Sarah Steele of Knox; and two brothers, Donald of Jersey Shore and John Eberenz of Corning. Funeral was held Sunday at 2 p.m., the Rev. David Burrows officiating. Burial was in Wellsboro Cemetery.
