Note: Binghamton Press of Thurs. Jan. 6, 1955, p30 has: MRS. MARTHA GAYLORD EATON, 71, of 59 Lusk Street, Johnson City, died at 7:35 p. m. Wednesday at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Eaton; a daughter, Mrs. Albert Scherer, of Conklin RD 1; four grandchildren, Marilyn, Nancy, Robert and Albert, all of Conklin RD 1, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Primitive Methodist Church of Johnson City, its Ladies Bible class, the Pride of Johnson City Council, Daughters of America, a former member of the DAR of Wyalusing, Pa, and an honorary member of the Wyalusing, Pa., Musical Society. The body was moved to the Ivan R. Barber& Son Funeral Home, 428 Main Street, Johnson City where the family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p. m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.
