Note:   Wellsboro Agitator, Tioga, PA--Wednesday, November 24, 1926 Mrs. Eva Elizabeth Baxter Hazlett, wife of James Edward Hazlett, was born at Nelson, Pa., Dec 1, 1855, daughter of George Henry and Clara Manley Baxter, and died at her home in Nelson, Nov. 18, 1926. She was twice married, her first husband being Reid M. Foster of Canton, PA., who died in 1891. On June 6, 1894, she was married to J. Edward Hazlett. With the exception of the years spent in Canton, her life has been lived in Nelson, where she has blessed by precept and example everyone whose life touched hers. Mrs. Hazlett is survived by her husband; one sister, Mrs M F Case of Mansfield; 3 nieces, Mrs Leland F. Smith of Troy, NY; Mrs Paul J Davis of Grand Forks, ND; Mrs Gustave A. John of Redlands, CA; and one nephew, Prof. Geo. W. Cass of Mansfield.
