Note: Wellsboro Agitator of May 3, 1922, p1 has: —- George H. Shipman, a highly respected citizen of Mansfield for the past 40 years, died at his home, April 2. He had been in ill health for some time. He was an elder of the Presbyterian church for many years and a past grand in the Independent Order of Old Fellows. He was interested in civic welfare, having been a member of the School Board and secretary o the Bond of Health. The funeral was held Saturday at 1:30 o'clock from his late home on Sherwood street. He is survived by his widow, Mary Campbell Shipman; two daughters, Mrs. Mabel S. Shaw and Mrs. Helen C. Wilson; three grandchildren; three brothers. John P.
