Notes
a. Note:   In 1913, 23-year old Loren was the manager of a business located at 1023 Willis Ave., in Syracuse, and was living at his parents' home at 1010 Avery Ave., Syracuse. That next year, while still employed at 1023 Willis Ave., he bought and moved to a house at 1008 Willis Ave. Around that same time, he took a job as a meatcutter at Gooley's market at 1101 Avery Ave., and worked there until about 1920, after which began a long career as a steelworker. In 1918, he moved to 1014 Avery Ave., where he raised his family and lived until his death in 1952 at age 62. Loren was about 30 years old when he became a father in 1922.
Loren was a very large man. His leg was amputated a few days before he died. Though his death record is not available, the cause of his amputation and death was probably related to diabetes. He is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt, NY, Lot 2.
