Genealogies of Virginia Families Vol 5 pg 256 John Carnal, 2nd husband of Sarah Hipkins Clark, widow of William Clark. William Carnal b ? c 1703 m. 1726 Essex Co. VA Mary Gresham - was a son of Patrick? A John Carnal m. 1708 Essex Co. VA Margery Rouse Other notes added: Patrick signed his Will with a W. - could this indicate his first name of William -Hugh Cary, a witness, signed his name with an H.; James, under age of 16 at time of fathers death.
