Find A Grave Memorial _______________ <!-- Hi Rick, I am a descendant of Josiah Settle and his first wife Frances Graves as follows: Alexandra Graves Baird born 31 May 1937 in Gadsden AL Alexander Wilson Graves Jr born 6 April 1917 in Mobile AL Alexander Wilson Graves Sr born 31 December 1891 in Talladega, AL Josiah Settle Graves born about 1854 in Rome GA John Hinton Graves and Frances Lewis Settle John Williams Graves and Martha Hinton and Josiah Settle and Frances Graves Gen Azariah Graves and Elizabeth Williams etc so you can see I am deep into Caswell County. I am absolutely fascinated by the story of Nancy and Josiah. How did I miss this? I believe many knew this story and it certainly seems that Fannie and her sister Elizabeth both knew and named their first sons after Josiah so there must have been some acceptance within the immediate family. I would love to know any info you might have and can share. Hope to hear from you.
