  Dad & Mom lived in Oshawa at the time Hal was born in 1942, then they moved to Frankford from at least 1944 to 1947; shortly thereafter, they moved back to Oshawa up to Dec. 1952 at which time they moved to Hamilton, ON.
  Obituary, Hamilton Spectator, Thursday, Jan. 23, 1992 issue: KEMP, Raymond - At St. Peter's Hospital on Wednesday, January 22, 1992, Raymond Kemp of Hamilton, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Dorothy Copland. Loving father of Hal Kemp & his wife Mary Jean of Rochester, New York, Cheryl Taber & her husband Bud of Hamilton, Guy Kemp & his wife Dianne of Hamilton and George Copland & his wife Darylene of Parry Sound. Will be sadly missed by many grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Mr. Kemp was a member of Hillcrest Lodge #594, A.F.&A.M. & Keystone Chapter #224, R.A.M. A Private Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in the J.B. Marlatt Memorial Chapel, 615 Main Street East (east of Santford) on Friday at 3 p.m. If so desired, donations may be made to St. Peter's Hospital. [Note: Dorothy Copland was my father's second wife whom he married while in his early 70's. George Copland & the great-grandchildren mentioned in this obituary were from Dorothy's family & not from the Kemp side.]
