Note: .Y., written Dec. 6, 1790 (he died ca. 1791): I give & bequeath to my daughters Elizabeth Quakenbos, wife of Garadus Quackenbos, Angelina Welch, wife of Thomas Welch, & to Cherick Van de Bogart, son of Nicholas Van de Bogart, in trust that he will & sufficiently keep & maintain Rachel Camp, daughter of my daughter Nancy ((three words erased)) all the Lands (I bought) of the Heirs of John Vedder, deceased, adjoining the Land of (Adrian) Van Slyck & to their Heirs & assigns forever. Then I give & bequeath said daughters Elizabeth Quakenbos & Angelica Welch & in trust to Cherick Van de Bogart for keeping & maintaining Rachel Camp, daughter of John Camp, all the Stock & Cows to be divided equally among them & to their heirs & assigns forever. [Note: Cherick Van de Bogart was actually Tjerk, a half-brother to Rachel].
