Notes
a. Note:   Lowell Brown was my great Grandfather. He was born on Campobello Island, New Brunswick to Clara SEARLES and William O. BROWN. Lowell was living on Grand Manan Island in 1891at the age of 8 with the Stephen THOMAS family, including his wife Barbara Gardener Thomas. His mother and two other siblings were still living at Campobello.
Lowell remained with the THOMAS family until he was of age and would soon marry Jessie BEAL, also of Grand Manan. They would remain there the rest of there lives and have a large number of descendants.
The following is Lowell's obituary which would have been published in the Telegraph Journal, Quoddy Tides or the Saint Croix Courier. (I believe it was the Courier).
