!OBIT: Dulaney Rasin departed this life Jan. 21, 1890, being his seventy-fourth birthday. The subject of these few lines was a kind husband. He and his companion had journeyed together forty-five years the 6th instant. He was an affectionate father and a much loved grandfather. Good neighbor, none were turned from his door whome he could help as far as his means permitted. he was ever cheerful and would entertain young people with incidents of by-gone days much to their enjoyment. We have been acquainted with him many years and always looked upon him as an inoffensive man forgiving in disposition with a desire to be at peace with all men. We visited him several times during his illness and he expressed himself entirely submissive to the will of his Heavenly Father, saying he was ll right and not afraid of death. We have no doubt his family's loss is his eternal gain. A Friend. same issue Jan. 25, 1890 Kent News.
