  !OBIT: Mr. Richard Rasin, of Still Pond died yesterday, aged about 70. Jan. 28, 1905 issue of Kent News. (Blizzard mentioned in this issue and massacre at St. Petersburg by czar's troops.)
  !OBIT: Death of Mr. Rasin. The News last week noted the death of Mr. Richard Rasin at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Thomas Jones, near Kennedyville, aged 79 years. He leaves three sisters, Mrs. Wm. J. Elliott and Mrs. Wilmina Crouch, of Chestertown, and Mrs. Mary Graves, of Wilmington, and the following children: Mrs. Thomas Jones, of near Kennedysville, Mrs. Q.L. Morrow, of Savanah, Georgia, Mrs. Robert Carter, of Wilmington, Mrs. Wm. Carter, of Worton, Mrs. Thomas P. Vandyke, of Locust Grove, and one son, Mr. Richard Rasin. He was also an uncle of County Commissioner Perry B. Rasin, Mr. M.M. Rasin, of Melitota, and Mrs. Frank Rouse, of Worton. Funeral Services were held at the residence of his daughter Mrs. Thomas Jones, near Kennedyville, conducted by Rev. R. S. Rowe, paster of Kennedyville M.P. Church. Interment in Union M.E. Cemetery, Worton. Undertaker Wm. H. Krusen had charge of funderal arrangements. Kent News Feb. 4, 1905 issue.
  !OBIT: same issue Feb. 4. The funeral of the late Richard Rasin who died near Kennedyville, had to be postponed from Tuesday to Thursday of the following week because of the blizzard. Rev. R. S. officiated.
