George Gale born in Whitehaven, Cumberland, England in 1671. John Gale bought 140 acres of Redmond's Supply from the estate of John Hodgson of Cecil Co. George Gale immigrated to Monie Hundred, Somerset County from Virginia per Biographical Dictionary.
!WILL: John Gale of North Carolina stated that his son John Gale living in Kent Co MD owed him 7,500 pounds of tobacco. Dated Oct. 2, 1733. John Gale of Province of NC near Old Currituck inlet.
