a. Note:   He was an early member of the Maryland Society of the Sons of the American Revolution MD #97 His obituary from the Daily News on Feb. 5, 1892 is in the SAR minutes book from 1892 p.113. He died of yellow fever on a trip to Brazil. He was about 23 year when he died. His father was Col.
