Sarah Gale: Birth: 1786. Death: 11 Aug 1845
Note: ly Sarah Gale, the dau. of John gale. John Gale died owing land in Worton Manor and left two children, Sarah Gale Ingram and Jane Gale. Rasin Gale Sr. was appointed guardian to Jane Gale. The land was divided between the two girls. When Sarah Gale Ingram died she left all her property to Mary Jane Gale Beck, James Beck's wife untilher death, then to Mary Jane's children. Mary Jane Beck wife of James W. Beck died Aug 8 1844 just two years after Sarah Ingram died. Sarah's two minor children then inherited the Ingram Farm. James Beck of George was apoointed guarian to George R. and Margaret A.I. Beck, minors. This farm that George R. Beck got was 186 acres sold in 1917 to J. William Ivens and became known as the Ivens farm and then his sister Margaret A.I. Stephens inherited the adjacent farm and it was 186 acres and was sold in 1898 to the Bacons and Romie Skirven in 1909 and became known as the Skirven farm.
John Gale an attorney and delegate from Kent Co died on Dec 28 1807 in Annapolis, MD. He was in his 47th year. Per the Republican Star. Administration was granted to Sarah Gale on Feb. 17 1808. He was John Gale (Stoneton) elected to the vestry of I.U. Church on Mar. 30 1807. On Jan 11 1808 he was replaced as vestryman by Samuel Ringgold.
