Note: 1993 - Amos acquired 120 to 125 acres on land on 11 June 1900 in the Ross Township near the Hazel Dell Church.. He and Gertrude went to Idaho in March 1906 with other family members. Later, he had a farm on the Salmon Tract in Twin Falls County, Idaho. The irrigation water did not reach this area for several years so it is thought he last this land as did several other members of his family. Amos and Gertrude moved back to Taylor County, Iowa where at one time he ran a hardware store in Hopkins, Missouri. They had no children. (Notes of Joan Jansen Drexler)
