a. Note:   , died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, in Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights. She was born Nov. 2, 1925, in Allegheny Township, a daughter of the late Byron W. and J. Mae (Baker) Miller. She was a telephone operator with the former Simmermon Answering Service in New Kensington for 11 years, retiring in 1989. She was formerly employed as a bookkeeper in her husband's business, Zimmerman's Excavation in Allegheny Township, for 25 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Leechburg and was a 1944 graduate of Leechburg High School. She enjoyed going to lunch with her fellow classmates each month, doing jigsaw puzzles and crafts and reading. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Zimmerman, who died Sept. 9, 1992; a son, Tedd William Zimmerman; a sister, Vera Stephenson; and a stepgranddaughter, Amy Young. She is survived by two sons, Thomas P. (Evelyn) Zimmerman, of Burrell Township, and Timothy W. (Karen) Zimmerman, of Allegheny Township; a daughter, Tracy D. (Jack) Zimmerman, of Allegheny Township; three brothers, Byron Clair Miller, of Ford City, Owen L. (June) Miller, of Allegheny Township, and H. Eugene (Pearl) Miller, of Allegheny Township; three sisters, Alice Kinter, of Apollo, Lois Roofner, of ford City, and Phyllis (Russell) Lamison, of Allegheny Township; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren. Friends will be welcomed by her family from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in CLAWSON'S, Second at Main streets, Leechburg. Additional visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of funeral ceremonies at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Leechburg. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev.
