  Gertha told me that they lived several places while growing up. They lived at the head of Big Sinnett in a house Lee built. The nearest neighbor was his brother Anderson on Lilly Fork. They then moved to Hamrick Run and one of their neighbors was Carl and Noni Bragg. The nearest doctor was in Swandale. Martha McKinney Nicholas used to live where Cory Keen lived. Gertha said she was born up around Swandale and was named after a Gertha Peaceheimer, a neighbor.
  Lee was 21 and Sylvia was 17 at time of marriage according to marriage cert. for Feb. 2, 1918.
